Rumor: iTunes Ditching DRM Tomorrow!

AppleInsider claims that on December 9th, tomorrow for some, today for others, that Apple are going to remove ALL DRM from music from the Sony, Universal and Warner record companies as it has done with EMI’s songs and Indie music.

AppleInsider got this rumor from a french website. Here is the quote,

The signals are clear today. iTunes should offer catalogs of three majors Universal Music, SonyBMG Music and Waner [sic] rid of technological protection measures next Tuesday, Dec. 9. The transition to DRM Free should be at a global level…

We shall see soon enough whether it is true of false…
